The sandy hiking trail through the inland dune is almost 600 meters long. There's a wider main path and a single trail adjacent to it, primarily intended for horse riding. In late summer, when the heather is in bloom, it's truly a dream trail...

The Sorge River marks the border between the districts of Rendsburg-Eckernförde and Schleswig-Flensburg. Although there's no sidewalk from the L 39 bridge, there's still a beautiful view of the river.

Tetenhusen Hay Hostel: Sleep in the hay on a working farm: 30 beds, farm café with breakfast, half-board, and full-board options available upon request. Canoe launching is available at the nearby jetty. However, we didn't see any activity there in August 2025.
