From this vantage point, you can see over Coburg and its fortress, all the way to the Thuringian Forest. On a clear day, the Blessberg hill near Eisfeld is easily visible. A visit to this viewpoint is worthwhile at any time of year, but it's naturally most beautiful in spring when everything is green and the rapeseed fields are a vibrant yellow.

This castle also deserves attention.

The draw well located here was donated by the Citizens' Association. The Citizens' Association has existed in Untersiemau for 50 years. Without its efforts, this well house would probably not exist. The flowerbed depicts the town's coat of arms.

Untersiemau Moated Castle stands in a park on the southern edge of the Upper Franconian municipality of Untersiemau in the Coburg district.
