연못, 호수, 분수, 운하 등 복잡하고 정교한 수계 시스템의 실현은 1992년 라게티 수차니 건설로 시작되어 니구아르다와 브루차노의 공원 동쪽 구역에 있는 두 개의 큰 호수 건설 덕분에 오늘날까지 계속되고 있습니다. 파르코 노르드 내 수차니 인공 연못 건설을 위한 발굴 물은 생물 다양성과 경관에 필수적인 요소이며, 물의 존재는 수생 식물, 곤충, 양서류, 어류, 파충류 등 존재하는 종을 현저히 증가시킵니다. 가장 큰 영향은 조류의 증가에서 나타납니다. 물닭, 청둥오리, 물닭이 자발적으로 정착하여 안정적으로 둥지를 틀었을 뿐만 아니라, 때로는 왜가리나 물총새와 같이 습한 환경을 선호하는 희귀종도 발견됩니다.

The park where Lake Niguarda is located is the Parco Nord of Milan, in the Niguarda area.

An artificial lake built in 2015 in the Niguarda district (located north of Milan, bordering the municipality of Bresso).

During periods when there is no weather emergency, the reservoir is a small lake surrounded by greenery, a tree-lined park open to all and visible from Via Aldo Moro (entrance from Piazzale Martiri della Deportazione) and on the border with Bresso (Via Papa Giovanni, 23). It covers 12,000 square meters with a bike path and a children's area within the Parco Nord park, planted with approximately 200 new trees and 2,400 shrubs, and with rafts in the center of the reservoir for bird nesting. When the reservoir is active, the entrances are closed and part of the affected area is flooded.

The Bruzzano Forest has a bike path and is an ideal picnic destination, with its green clearings alternating with groves of oak, ash, poplar, and birch trees. The park, which formed the original nucleus of the North Park, also boasts two Himalayan cedars. From there, you can reach the nearby Cascina Anna, an imposing noble residence from the early 20th century, now home to the Anna Library, which has a section dedicated to environmental sustainability and ecology.

Lake Niguarda is an artificial lake built in 2015 in the Niguarda district (located north of Milan, bordering the municipality of Bresso).

The retention basin is part of a larger flood management system for the Seveso River, which includes three other retention basins upstream located in the municipalities of Lentate, Paderno Dugnano-Varedo, and Senago, as well as several floodplain areas adjacent to watercourses further north. It is the first of these to be completed.
