람브로 강은 라리아노 삼각주에서 시작되며, 더 정확하게는 코모 호수의 두 지류 사이에 있는 프리알프스 산맥의 마그레글리오 코뮌에서 시작됩니다. 약 130km를 흘러 밀라노 시를 통과한 후, 센나 로디지아나에서 포 강으로 흘러 들어갑니다.

밀라노 동부(3번 구역)에 위치한 람브로 공원은 773,000m² 이상의 녹지를 자랑하는 이 도시에서 가장 넓은 공원 중 하나입니다. 같은 이름의 강이 흐르는 이 공원은 언덕, 인공 호수(비아 펠트레의 호수 등), 숲이 우거진 지역, 다양한 농가 등 다채로운 풍경을 제공합니다. 놀이터, 스케이트파크, 식물 탐방로가 있는 교류의 장소입니다.

18세기 말 합스부르크 행정부가 개장한 인드로 몬타넬리 공공 정원은 건축가 주세페 피에르마리니가 설계한 밀라노 최초의 공공 공원으로, 집단적인 여가를 위해 특별히 조성되었습니다. 과거에는 밀라노 동물원이 있었으나 1992년에 폐쇄되었고, 물개 연못과 대형 고양이 우리를 수용했던 파빌리온이 그 유적으로 남아 있습니다.

The Lambro is a river of great importance to the history of agriculture and the economic activities of the area. Engineer Piero Antonio Barca attested to this as early as 1615 in a study designed to suggest ways to better exploit its waters. The Lambro rises in the Menaresta area of the municipality of Magreglio at an altitude of 942 meters, and the history of many villages unfolds along its course. It has always been considered a precious resource to be protected from both neglect and the abuses of the powerful so that it could remain a common heritage.

At the entrance to the Castle, just below the Filarete Tower, there are several well-equipped bicycle parking areas.

It is located in the western part of the city, surrounded by the districts of Baggio, Sella Nuova, Quarto Cagnino and Quinto Romano, and is characterized by four reservoirs, a pond, forests, watercourses, urban gardens, an agricultural area with Marcit and the Linterno farmstead.
