The climb and the town are quite popular with local cyclists, the climbs are not demanding and several road and gravel tours pass through them.

Nicknamed "the balcony of Romagna", Bertinoro is a medieval village rich in history and perfect for a stop during your bike rides. From this and other points you can see why it got its nickname: you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea and the Romagna plain.

One of the most beautiful windows in Romagna

La Strada dei Mestieri Scomparsi – the street “Custarèna” at the beginning of Via delle Mura, houses six paintings created to preserve the memory and history of the ancient trades of the city. Among these trades we find the blacksmith, the shoemaker and the carpenter.

The Rocca di Bertinoro is a historic fortress built around the middle of the 10th century, located on a hill 247 meters high in Bertinoro. The fortress has preserved its original medieval structure and originally served as a defensive structure. Today it houses the Centro Residenziale Universitario and the Museo Interreligioso, dedicated to the dialogue between Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The museum offers a unique experience with installations and works of art by great masters such as Rembrandt and Giacomo Manzù. The pride of Bertinoro: Arnaldo Pambianco (Bertinoro, August 16, 1935 – ibid., July 6, 2022) was a very regular Italian cyclist, whose absolute highlight was the Giro d'Italia 1961 (100th edition!) He also won Milan - Turin (1960), the Tour of Sardinia (1963) and the Brabantse Pijl (1964). Following his death in 2022 (as did his wife), a mural by Venezuelan urban artist Luis Gomez De Teran was inaugurated in 2023. Gomez De Teran, known for his realistic style inspired by the Baroque, uses strong contrasts of light and shadow to bring his works to life
