Castello di Ribano, located in Savignano sul Rubicone, has a fascinating history that dates back to medieval times. Originally built as a fortified curtis, the castle was owned by the church of Ravenna. In 1580, it passed to the Camaldolese monks who transformed it into a summer residence. Today, Castello di Ribano is home to an important winery and is used for events and receptions, keeping its ancient winemaking tradition alive.

The Celletta della Madonna del Pozzo is located in Savignano sul Rubicone, in Emilia-Romagna. It is a small place of worship that has historical and religious significance for the local community.

The Ribano Castle was built in the Middle Ages as a fortified curtis. Once owned by the church of Ravenna, in 1580 it passed to the Camaldolese monks who transformed it into a summer residence dependent on the Ravenna convent. Following the Napoleonic suppression of the ecclesiastical orders, the monastery was expropriated and sold to private individuals until, after various events, it came to the Savignano Vallicelli family who granted it as an inheritance to Count Gioachino Rasponi, nephew of the king of Naples and member of the most prominent liberal patriciate of Ravenna of the time. Today the castle is owned by Dr. Giovanni Colonna, Prince of Paliano, nephew of Count Gianbattista Spalletti and has become the headquarters of an important wine company that continues the ancient wine tradition.
