The Obisellalm is located on the route just below the Saltauser Joch. After a strenuous 2-3 hour hike (or more, depending on your fitness), a long break here comes at just the right time. It is located at an altitude of 2160m above the Obisellsee, which forms the bottom of a mountain basin. The host couple runs a small farm with grey cattle, chickens and pigs, and produces all of their own dairy products. When the weather is nice, you can eat on the terrace with a view of the surrounding mountain ranges. This is followed by the climb up the Saltauser Joch, which is not too strenuous, so that even after a sumptuous meal, your stomach will not be particularly burdened. Therefore: feel free to stop by the very friendly host family and enjoy the delicious food before moving on.
