There are a maximum of 10 parking spaces up there...be sure to get a ticket from the machine at the Municipio for 5 euros...video surveillance...50 euro fine...road narrow but ok with 500 m of gravel well doable

cycle path to Chiavenna, whoever wants can also reach Switzerland. Road always safe: very short stretches with cars. Asphalt road, dirt stretches ok MTB or gravel. Have fun

This path is filled with fine gravel and is therefore easy to ride on any bike, even following the Adda far into the valley. Certainly under-challenging for MTB riders used to off-road terrain, but also good for doing a “distance”.
