Well, the road is almost all paved by now, so if your legs are strong or the bike motorized, no problem at all.

To be done from Morbegno along the Viandante path!

Note that this section is a trail and not asphalt so ignore the photo of the tarmac – that's taken on the riverside bike path, not here. (If it gets tarmacked, me and a lot of people will be really sad!)

bridge that crosses the Adda and leads to Castello dell'Acqua

It is the Mello mountain pasture, also known as Poira diinterno, right in front of and connected to the other mountain pasture of Poira di Civo, Poira di outside. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Orobie and in particular of the Val Gerola and the valley of S. Marco

Beautiful village just above Morbegno on the road to the San Marco pass. Very beautiful view of Lake Como (West) and the Disgrazia group (North-East).

From here the stretch starts entirely in the undergrowth.

CàdelPicco-Chempo connection which begins as a grassy country road to become a mule track, a fairly compact woodland path, a bumpy woodland road, and again a mule track near Chempo to end among the narrow lanes of the town. It would also be suitable for Gravel if it weren't for about fifty meters of very rough country/woodland.
