White Park cattle originally come from England. They were kept by the nobility as a substitute for wild animals and lived in large parks there. There are only a few hundred cows of this breed left in the world. Important breeding countries are Great Britain, Denmark and Germany. The cattle are actually white, but there are also black specimens - such as the Tarper bull "Lester".
