Great place to enjoy some lovely food/beverages with magnificent and iconic views. The route leading up to the Hörnlihütte can be challenging if it is icy, so be prepared with the right equipment in any case.

Challenging terrain, especially if it is wet/icy, but the Hörnlihütte is a great reward for mastering the terrain :)

Everyone wants to take the perfect photo, but you can only do that if you're lucky - when the sun is shining, it's not raining and the summit is clear of clouds. We were lucky and we're over the moon!

It deserves to climb Zerbion at least once in your life, with its priceless panoramic view over the whole Ayas valley. I therefore advise you to choose a clear day so as not to lose all the panoramas that can be admired both at the summit and during the upper part of the excursion. It starts from the hamlet of Barmasc and can be reached in about 3 hours, a trip suitable for everyone which, in the absence of snow, presents no difficulties, just a few steep sections. Along the way, many young people and even over 60s.

The path to the Hörnlihütte is recommended. Beautiful panorama and great view of the "Horu". But you should be surefooted!

Only recommended in good weather (sometimes there can be snow in summer). The ascent requires fitness, but is feasible without special equipment (mountain railway from Zermatt to Schwarzsee, then continue on the signposted path - hiking poles can be helpful in places, sturdy shoes). Great view from the terrace and the ridge above the hut of the surrounding mountains and the Matterhorn itself. The food there is also tasty. I recommend the mountaineer spaghetti.

Don’t underestimate this climb on your first day! Acclimate to the height is recommended.

Mount Zerbion is an excursion recommended for those who love 360 degree mountain views. It is also very beautiful to see the sunrise from there, an incredible moment above it.

Very panoramic peak with a spectacular view, if you organize departure at dawn I recommend joining the Zerbion via the Cresta del Col Portola until you reach Mount Tantanè

A "must" if you are in Zermatt. "Attack" the Matterhorn yourself. There are two beautiful paths up here. We recommend!
