The Bivacco Ulrich Lateltin, at over 3,100 meters, is a small refuge suspended between the peaks of the Aosta Valley, a place where wood and metal meet in an intimate and welcoming embrace. Here, among breathtaking views and an enveloping silence, all the fatigue of the journey dissolves, leaving room for an authentic mountain experience. With its twelve bunks and warm atmosphere, it is the ideal refuge for those looking for a simple but comfortable shelter, immersed in a breathtaking landscape. A stop that remains in the heart, perfect for finding yourself at high altitude.

A challenging trip that requires a bit of training and effort, but it fully pays off: once you reach the summit, you have a 360 degree view of the main peaks: Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso and so on and so forth put some. The path is easily identifiable at any time, and about halfway there is a mountain hut where you can refresh yourself.

Lake Perrin is one of the high mountain lakes spread across the Val Ayas mountain range. What makes this more special is that from the height of 2,600 meters you can see the peaks of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc, as well as the unique Walser villages that you encounter on the path to Lake Champoluc.

I therefore advise you to choose a clear day so as not to lose all the panoramas that can be admired both at the summit and during the upper part of the excursion. It starts from the hamlet of Barmasc and can be reached in about 3 hours, a trip suitable for everyone which, in the absence of snow, presents no difficulties, just a few steep sections. Along the way, many young people and even over 60s.

Mount Zerbion is an excursion recommended for those who love 360 degree mountain views. It is also very beautiful to see the sunrise from there, an incredible moment above it.
