바치오카 온천은 폴로니카와 그로세토 사이의 몬티오니 자연 공원 내에 위치하며, 나폴레옹의 여동생인 엘리사 보나파르트 바치오키의 의지에 따라 1809년경에 지어진 작은 온천 단지입니다. 오늘날에는 식물에 둘러싸인 폐허로 남아 있지만, 당시에는 안토니오 카노바가 만든 대리석 욕조를 갖춘 우아한 웰빙 센터였습니다.

The Church of San Giusto is the guardian of millennia-old stories and a timeless charm. A majestic church, whose origins date back to between the 9th and 12th centuries, located next to the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, it is not only a sacred building, but a piece of history can be found in every corner. Named after San Giusto, bishop of Volterra, its origins are linked to the legend of the African exiled bishops, San Giusto, San Cerbone, San Fiorenzo, and San Regolo, who landed in the Val di Cornia in the 6th century, leaving an indelible mark throughout the valley. It is no coincidence, in fact, that San Fiorenzo is the patron saint of Campiglia Marittima and the Cathedral of Massa Marittima is dedicated to San Cerbone. The gabled façade, the evocative portal, and the quatrefoil rose window, with its black and white band decoration, are hallmarks of the Tuscan Romanesque style.

Santa Claus usually sets up home in the heart of the historic center, often inside historic buildings or charming stone cellars, making the setting much more authentic than commercial villages.

A surprising journey through Maria Micaelli's extraordinary collection recounts the evolution of costume, styles, and materials—from porcelain to biscuit, from rags to celluloid, along with felt, fabric, and papier-mâché—illustrating some of the most recent moments in Italian history. Astonishing one-of-a-kind pieces and masterpieces of art and craftsmanship come from Italy's most important manufacturers: of particular importance are the pieces from the Lenci House of Turin, including Violetta (1921), the museum's signature doll, inspired by the protagonist of Verdi's opera La Traviata.
