Opened in 1864, the bridge connected Ocnei Street and the Terezian neighborhood. The old maps of the city's fortifications are mentioning the existence of such a construction in the area of ​​the Ocnei Gate. The bridge was built out of stone over a wooden bridge and it seems that it has had its current form since 1908. The construction has a length of 41,8 meters, two openings and a width of 10 meters. The balustrade is made out of a frieze of 20 Doric columns placed between three pillars that structure the bridge. The Sibiu city's coat of arms is applied to the body of each pillar.

A very beautiful tower on the city wall

The Carpenter's Tower (Turnul Dulgherilor) dates back to 1357-1366, when the third ring of fortifications of the city was built. It was built by the local Saxon guild of carpenters. It is the northernmost of the three towers on Cetății Street. Over time, this tower has undergone a number of repairs and reconstructions. The current shape of the tower probably dates back to the early 16th century. The Carpenter's Tower was restored between 1967 and 1972 and again in 2007. It has a circular shape at the base. It then takes the shape of an octagonal prism, which is topped by the classic protruding part.

Built between 1980 and 1981, the dam has the role of supplying water to the city of Sibiu, the communes of Gura Râului, Cristian, Sura Mare, Ocna Sibiului and Șelimbăr, but it also mitigates the floods and is involved in the production of electricity at the 3.7 MW Cibin plant. The lake behind it is 68 hectares wide and "houses" 15.5 million cubic meters of water. The view of the surrounding area is awesome, the road is paved and the uphill difficulty easy to medium.
