The path to reach it is easy from a technical point of view, but physically demanding (or rather it's not really two steps). It can be reached from both Valzurio and Castione. In winter it is easy to spot chamois.

The path to reach the pass that starts from Lizzola is physically demanding (with a slope often around and above 20%) but simple from a technical point of view without exposed passages. Be careful in winter, if it has snowed the path could have hardened and frozen snow with a consequent risk of slipping (which combined with the slope can cause falls and accidents) it is therefore advisable to have a pair of crampons with you. The chapel of the Manina is also beautiful, well maintained and internally decorated (although it is difficult to observe internally due to the dark windows.
