    The Vivione pass is a pass that connects the Scalve valley and the Camonica valley. On both sides the climb is long and at times very demanding. The road is narrow and panoramic, very busy especially on summer weekends. The pass is usually closed from October to April due to snow. At the top there is a refuge with kitchen and bar.

      Can be divided into two parts:
      - the first 10km marked by a stepped ascent, with stretches that allow you to catch your breath
      - the last 9km characterized by the entrance into the woods, where the slopes are often double-digit.
      The last 2km are deceptive, where the valley opens up: the arrival seems to be close, but the road climbs without forgiveness.

          A beautiful climb that, I wasn't familiar with, winds and narrows, with new asphalt almost the entire way. The road is narrow, so you have to watch out for the few cars going up or down, including motorcycles. Don't underestimate the gradient and length. The scenery is very, very beautiful. I did it on a splendid sunny day, with temperatures a bit chilly below 1,000 meters and unusually warm above 1,500 meters.
