The Vivione pass is a pass that connects the Scalve valley and the Camonica valley. On both sides the climb is long and at times very demanding. The road is narrow and panoramic, very busy especially on summer weekends. The pass is usually closed from October to April due to snow. At the top there is a refuge with kitchen and bar.

The Vivione pass is an ideal destination for hiking lovers. Located at approximately 1,828 meters above sea level, it connects Val Camonica and Val Seriana offering breathtaking landscapes. There are several excursions you can do starting from the Vivione pass. One of the most popular is the excursion to Lake Barbellino, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by majestic mountains. Another interesting excursion is the one towards Mount Vivione, which offers a spectacular view of Val Camonica. The pass represents the arrival point of the Antonio Curò naturalistic itinerary.

Very challenging climb from the Forno Allione side: 19.2km with an average gradient of 6%.
Can be divided into two parts:
- the first 10km marked by a stepped ascent, with stretches that allow you to catch your breath
- the last 9km characterized by the entrance into the woods, where the slopes are often double-digit.
The last 2km are deceptive, where the valley opens up: the arrival seems to be close, but the road climbs without forgiveness.
