Croce di Salò or di San Bartolomeo, located at about 500 meters above sea level, offers an exceptional panoramic view of the Gulf of Salò and Lake Garda.

The Rifugio Monte Stino, at 1,437 m, is nestled in the Val Sabbia, between Lake Idro and Lake Garda. Opened in 2014, it offers typical local cuisine and large outdoor spaces. There is no possibility of overnight stay. Next to the refuge is the Chiesetta degli Alpini. to return to the Pian di Lò and avoid the descent from Prealba, because I consider it a bit treacherous, I chose this path. Be careful because it is more visible. Where the signs cross, you have to make a sharp bend, and with a sharp eye you can notice the path. Do not take the path that always goes down to the left, which would be the most visible, because it takes you out of the woods.

Monte Pizzocolo offers an incredibly beautiful view

The Corna di Salo which can be reached without much effort either by bike or on foot offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf of Salo

Closed Tuesday and Wednesday, otherwise always open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

From here you have a fabulous view of the bay of Saló. There is a large bench under a beautiful tree from which you can enjoy the great view in peace. The white cross about 10 m further down rounds off the whole thing.
