30 km of cycle path that leads from Milan to Pavia. It crosses the Agricultural Park south of Milan and all the countryside before arriving at Ticino and the first hills of Oltrepo Pavese

The Abbey takes its name from the bloody battle of 1061 between the Milanese and Pavia. The church was built shortly after the clash, the adjacent monastery, however, dates back to the 14th century and part of it remains today.

The Certosa di Pavia is a treasure located in the heart of Lombardy, along the Naviglio Pavese. The fourteenth-century basilica of San Bassiano is the only building left standing in Laus Pompeia, today Lodi Vecchia, which survived the destruction perpetrated by the Milanese army in 1158. Emperor Frederick Barbarossa decided to rebuild Laus a few kilometers away, on the Eghezzone hill and founded the new city: Laus Nova, today's Lodi. In addition to the basilica, it is also interesting to visit the archaeological remains of the old city.
