A fantastic marble run, right in the middle of the forest. With many beautiful tracks and seating areas. Don't forget your €1 coins, because that's the only way to get a marble!

This marble run is a really great idea. We had a lot of fun. Highly recommended for adults too. You should have a euro with you, though, or you won't get a marble.

Unfortunately, during our visit there was little water and it was dirty

🏕️ CVJM Hut near Wolfstein Forest hut with shelter and benches at an elevation of approximately 455m – ideal as a rest stop on the popular circular hike. Part of the "HüttenKulTour" and located near the Poggrechweiher. Tip: Great in light rain or for a relaxing snack stop between the Poggrechweiher and the Selberghütte. Perfect for recharging your batteries.

🏞️ Forest Marble Run at Laufhauser Weiher Five wooden tracks directly in the forest above the pond's shore – interactive marble-playing fun for all ages. Marbles (€1 each) are available from the on-site vending machine or at the youth hostel. Tip: Get your marbles beforehand – and combine this highlight with a detour to the Königsberg Throne for a little summit experience.

💧 Spring and Pond at the Blaue Halde (Blue Halde) Tucked away in the quiet forest area near the Blaue Halde (Blue Halde) lies this idyllic spot with a clear spring and a small pond. Surrounded by lush greenery and mature trees, the scenery seems almost enchanted – a place to pause and take a deep breath. 💡 Tip: Ideal as a quiet stopover for nature lovers who are off the beaten track. Especially beautiful in the early morning or late afternoon when the light filters through the treetops.

🏡 Dümmlerhütte near Wolfstein Located amidst the countryside above Wolfstein, the Dümmlerhütte offers a charming place to stop for a break with sweeping views of the Glan Valley. The hut is quietly located and surrounded by rolling hills and mixed forest – perfect for a rest stop during hikes around the castle ruins or the Königsberg. 💡 Tip: Those traveling with dogs or children will find a relaxing, family-friendly break here – with a rustic atmosphere and often surprisingly empty rest areas.
