It is located in the modern information center of the mighty Thallichtenberg Castle ruins. Tip: Ideal for changeable weather or as a family highlight after touring the castle. Particularly impressive: the original finds from the Rotliegend rock – including a 290-million-year-old prehistoric dinosaur from the Kusel Basin.

🎶 Tithe Barn & Musicians' Land Museum – A Sound of History The unique Palatinate Musicians' Land Museum is located in the historic tithe barn of Lichtenberg Castle. It impressively tells the story of the itinerant musicians who once traveled from here to all over the world. Tip: The exhibition combines a sense of home with a musical journey around the world – absolutely worth seeing!

Whether you're enjoying hearty classics or a slice of cake with coffee, it tastes twice as good with a view over the valley. Tip: If the weather is good, be sure to sit outside – the view is spectacular!
