The Cathedral Church of San Giustino, also dedicated to the apostle Thomas and the Virgin of the Assumption, stands on an ancient factory of a previous Church. A beautiful impact on the square of the same name.

In the heart of old Pescara, Gabriele D’Annunzio was born here, in the family home, on March 12, 1863 and spent the first years of his roaring life. Only the five internal rooms maintain the appearance of the original home. The stables and warehouses have been transformed into exhibition spaces. In addition to the collections of memorabilia, you can visit the Library, while in the courtyard, the ceramic portrait of the poet, by Basilio Cascella, is displayed. Andrea Cascella was born in Pescara, son of Tommaso Cascella and nephew of Michele Cascella. The ship is a representative work of his work as a sculptor.

Fontana la Nave di Cascella. A connection point between the promenade and the high road to the Bus, and Train Station. The fountain was designed and built in 1987 by Pietro Cascella, a sculptor and painter born in Pescara.

The Ponte del Mare is a cable-stayed cycle-pedestrian bridge located in the city of Pescara and, with its 466 m length between the shoulders and the 172 m span of the suspended deck, it is the largest Italian cycle-pedestrian bridge and one of the largest in Europe.
