Francavilla al Mare – 해변의 모래사장과 자전거 타기의 즐거움 Francavilla al Mare는 아드리아 해안의 넓은 모래 해변과 더 거친 Costa dei Trabocchi 사이의 전환 지점입니다. 이곳에서는 해변 바로 옆에 넓고 차 없는 산책로가 있는 수 킬로미터 길이의 황금빛 모래사장을 따라 여유롭게 자전거를 탈 수 있습니다. 현대적인 Pontile di Francavilla는 아드리아 해로 멀리 뻗어 있으며 해안선의 멋진 전망을 제공합니다. 가는 길에 아늑한 해변 바, 테라스, 아이스크림 가게를 즐길 수 있습니다. 휴식을 취하거나 상쾌한 수영을 하기에 완벽한 장소입니다. 평평하고 잘 조성된 자전거 도로는 로드 바이크부터 시티 바이크까지 모든 자전거 이용자에게 이상적인 장소입니다. 해안 여행을 시작하거나 편안하게 마무리하기에 좋은 곳입니다.

The trail requires maintenance, especially the section starting in Santa Teresa. The bridge over the river, with its large arch, is almost shrouded in reeds, making access difficult. The rest of the single track is rather neglected. After passing the industrial area, the trail accesses through a very dangerous junction and is in poor condition in several places.

Good for starting to move without going too far, a mix between nature and city

In the heart of old Pescara, Gabriele D’Annunzio was born here, in the family home, on March 12, 1863 and spent the first years of his roaring life. Only the five internal rooms maintain the appearance of the original home. The stables and warehouses have been transformed into exhibition spaces. In addition to the collections of memorabilia, you can visit the Library, while in the courtyard, the ceramic portrait of the poet, by Basilio Cascella, is displayed. To introduce the D’Annunzio events, there is a video story with excerpts from the poet’s works dedicated to the family and the house where he was born. Gabriele D’Annunzio was born here, in the heart of old Pescara, Corso Mantonè is today the favorite meeting place for young people for its many clubs and restaurants.

The cycle path that runs along the Pescara river in the stretch between the cement factory and the Fater would be a nice route but the cycle paths are, due to zero maintenance, subject to the usual vandalism and receptacles of dirt. Unfortunately, the road to civic sense is still very long.
