This section of the tour offers a sweeping view of the Adige Valley, whose gently rolling slopes are covered in densely planted vineyards. Scattered houses and farmland stand out between the green rows of vines. While cycling along the bike path, the view conveys a sense of expansiveness, tranquility, and connection to nature, especially when the warm light of sunrise or sunset bathes the landscape in vibrant colors.

Castel Beseno, the largest hilltop castle in Trentino, sits atop a hill overlooking the Adige Valley and the Rio Cavallo Valley. The Ciclovia della Valle dell'Adige cycle path offers a beautiful view of the castle's mighty walls and towers, which blend majestically into the surrounding landscape. The fortress's origins date back to the 12th century, and it played a significant role during the Battle of Calliano in 1487, among other events. Today, Castel Beseno is an important cultural monument and a popular destination for cyclists and nature lovers who enjoy the combination of historic architecture, verdant river landscapes, and vineyards.

You start from the lake, pass through overflowing apple orchards, ride for miles along the bike path alongside the Brenta River, stop at one of the many bike rest stops, pass through charming villages, and reach the Oliero Caves. You can also continue to Bassano del Grappa. All this with the mountains as a backdrop. The elevation gain is negligible. For those who always ride on flat ground, it's a real treat.
