Beautiful spot next to the cycle path

At the mouth of the Sarca River into Lake Garda, the murky, sediment-rich waters of the river meet the clear, blue lake waters. The differences in temperature, density, and sediment content often create distinct color boundaries that slowly blend depending on the current and wind. This natural spectacle creates a fascinating interplay of colors between the milky-brown river water and the emerald- to dark-blue lake, which is particularly well observed from lakeside promenades, bridges, or while cycling along the lake.

In midsummer, the oleander bushes are literally bursting with blossom, and even in mid-September, the colors are still blazing! What a wonderful way to green up the path!
