This basilica, built on a structure dating back to the 12th century and gradually expanded over the centuries, reached its final structure in the 16th/17th centuries. It is considered one of the most interesting churches in the entire diocese, rivaling the cathedral and the city's basilicas in richness and beauty. It contains numerous works of art, from Lombard, Italian, and Central European artists. With three naves, divided by four imposing polylobed pillars, it features splendid Baroque frescoed vaults, capable of astonishing and captivating not only the faithful but also the lay visitor. The large hexagonal bell tower, with its unique and distinctive onion dome, completes its structure. It is worth taking the time for a prolonged and attentive visit.

Baita Cornei is a hiking reference point located in the Conca del Farno, in the Val Gandino, province of Bergamo. It is a structure used by hikers as a rest point along the paths that lead to Pizzo Formico and Rifugio Parafulmine. Characteristics of Baita Cornei: Location: Gandino, Bergamo, Lombardy. Altitude: About 1200 meters. Trails: Connections with Pizzo Formico, Monte Farno and Piana della Montagnina. Services: Vending machine for drinks and toilets available. Monte Sparavera is a peak in the Bergamo Prealps, located at 1369 meters above sea level. It offers a spectacular view of Lake Endine and Val Cavallina. Recommended route Start: Gandino or Peia Trail: CAI 547 Difference in altitude: About 800 meters Duration: 4 hours (round trip) Difficulty: Hiking (E) The route passes through woods, panoramic meadows and a forest road that leads to the summit.
