The neoclassical hall church was built between 1843 and 1850 by Gustav Uhlig. The main feature of the interior is a pulpit altar framed by two massive wooden columns on high pedestals. The valuable baptismal font from 1563 was restored during the church's reconstruction. The Anna ferry awaits you for a crossing across the Zschopau River for adults, children, and bicycles during the season from April to October. The ferry has a tradition dating back to the mid-19th century. Numerous legends and stories are associated with it. The ferryman will be happy to tell you more during the crossing. The ferry connects the popular hiking trails on the left bank of the Zschopau River (near the Wasserschänke) with the legendary and famous Bruhmsteig trail. This bridge is closed to pedestrians and cyclists (as of January 25, 2025) and there is no longer any possibility to walk over it and of course it is not stated anywhere how long or why this bridge is closed but obviously it is said to be dilapidated in other words all walks that include this bridge are invalid until further notice
