Brauhaus Trotzenburg As the only and genuine brewery inn, we are pleased to be able to offer you a wide variety of beers freshly tapped. This of course also includes seasonal hearty cuisine, as well as a cozy beer garden with delicious grilled specialties. In addition, our spacious dining room offers enough space for large groups and celebrations. 350 seats inside, 200 seats outside, tours of the in-house brewery, large beer garden with play area for children, located directly next to the Barnstorfer forest and zoo, humorous wall paintings inside, German cuisine.

In the historic part of the zoo, there are not only many animals but also many plants. Large beds with many different dahlias form the dahlia quarter. Enclosed by a hedge, benches invite you to take a break.

The expedition from pole to pole begins in the southernmost hemisphere, where the Humboldt penguins show you the way to the Polarium. The polar bears live in an area modelled on the tundra. The life and threatened environment of the largest land predator on earth are illuminated in the multimedia ice worlds. It's time to dive into the exotic sea worlds of the Polarium. Octopuses, moray eels and jellyfish give an insight into the mystical underwater kingdom of our earth.

In the Polarium you can experience unique insights into the world of polar bears. There are 3 polar bears - you can almost touch them through the windows.

It is very impressive to see the polar bears under water.
