A place that is always worth visiting.

On both sides of the Lucie Canal there are dike paths that are great for cycling. Since the dike paths are not open to public motor vehicle traffic, but only to agricultural and forestry traffic (as well as cyclists and pedestrians), you rarely see cars here. However, cyclists should make way for agricultural and forestry traffic, because these vehicles have priority here (there are also signs saying this). After the Lucie Canal flows into the Jeetzel Canal, the dyke paths also continue along the Jeetzel Canal.

And where is the highlight here? Almost the entire route from Lüchow to Dannenberg was marked as a highlight, it is a beautiful route, but unfortunately the name "Finally Dannenberg" does not fit at all, especially because the marking of the "highlight" ends a few kilometers before Dannenberg.

A wooden bench (round bench around a tree) at a crossroads in the forest (Lucie). Can be used well for a break if you are here by bike or on foot. Lucie is a mixed forest, sometimes very pretty. It's especially beautiful here in autumn. There are many trails here for hiking and some that are also good for cycling.

Nice photo motif. However, the tree is not that lonely, because there are two trees that stand close together. From the bridge you have a great view of the Jeetzel. In a south-easterly direction you can see the mouth of the Lucie Canal in the (Neue) Jeetzel. If you want to continue here in the direction of Lüchow, you should stay on the right side of the dike, on the left side it goes (along the Lucie Canal) to Seerau in der Lucie.
