The first lookout tower was erected on the Black Grat in 1878. 156 steps lead to today's viewing platform at a height of 28m and open up the view of Lake Constance, the Nagelfluh and the Alps.

Raggenhorn is the name of this beautiful vantage point not far from Wenger Eggalpe.

Final ascent to the tower on the Schwarzen Grat from Wenger Egg. Lots of hikers on the go on nice weekends. Bikers also like to use the trail so always be careful.

Definitely worth a visit! A total of 3 routes lead from the foot in Isny up, one more beautiful than the other and with different highlights. The tower was open continuously (September / October 2020) and free of charge. In front of the tower there is a small playground and benches / tables for a leisurely break. Info for those with a fear of heights: you MUST go up the tower to enjoy the view, below you are only surrounded by trees;)
