The town lake can be seen as Bad Waldsee's "calling card" alongside the historic old town. There has been a continuous shore path since 1952. The lake is in the middle of the town and is also used by the town's outdoor swimming pool. The town's rowing club uses it as a training water and there is also a boat rental service. The lake is owned by the town and is managed by the local fishing club.

Waldsee is a pretty Upper Swabian town, beautifully decorated, and always invites you to linger, in the old town or at the town lake.
