The Wuhlheide is an urban forest area located in the Berlin districts of Oberschöneweide and Köpenick. In addition to the former Wuhlheide public park, it also includes the leisure and recreation center (FEZ), the Wuhlheide Innovation Park (IPW) commercial area, the Oberschöneweide forest cemetery and other large forest areas to the east and west of the two parks.

The old splendor is still there, it is simply beautiful to walk through this building of GDR art, and there is a lot to see here. The Astrid Lindgren stage offers an entertaining theater program for children and families with its 588 seats. The children's museum in the FEZ presents walk-in and playable temporary exhibitions on 450 m² on various topics. The Orbital Space Center has an unusual architecture. It is based on the International Space Station (ISS). Here, space travel, its fascination and its social benefits can be experienced. Swimming pools and sports halls, concert halls, cinemas and playgrounds invite you to try things out and get involved. Around 30 clubs complement the offer, especially in the afternoons and evenings.

Especially nice in Summer to hide from the sun. Air is much cooler on the way through the woods.
