Coming from Langburkersdorf or CZ, it's a welcome rest stop after a moderate climb. Coming from Hohwald, you've already had a rapid descent, but it's still worth taking a break here to enjoy the beautiful view.

NOT SUITABLE for road bikes! Unless you have very thick and durable tires or even a gravel bike, the 1.2km route is rocky and gravelly!

A wonderful, winding, and undulating path through fields. Completely paved. It can get muddy during harvest time, but it's always a pleasant ride. I always enjoy riding along here, especially towards Hutberg.

Beautiful view of Stolpen, including the castle. It's nice to see how it was built on the old volcanic crater (basalt spring dome).

A beautiful descent. However, since the trail is quite narrow, winding, and littered with natural debris, you should take the "slow down" signs seriously. I didn't find it all that great for a road bike.

Great train station, change to the bus right at the platform.

In the lower section, the land trail is more like a hiker's parking lot with poor terrain and a muddy road surface. I would choose the road, at least during the hiking season.

A cozy inn with a beautiful beer garden decorated with colorful flowers. Here you can also climb the approximately 33-meter-high Prince George Tower, where you'll enjoy magnificent views of the Neustadt Valley and as far as Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland.
