On the southern shore of Nedersø in Jels, there's an outdoor Viking theater performed by amateurs during the summer. The lake and forest also form the backdrop.

Jels Vikingeby consists of a pit house and a large longhouse, which are reconstructions from a Viking settlement found at Hammelev in Southern Jutland. Jels Søbad is located right on the edge of Jels Nedersø with probably Denmark's most beautiful background for a fresh dip. This period usually lasts from week 26 to week 29. The rest of the year you can use the three shelters freely. Reservation is not possible. There is space for whoever comes first.
