Lerbjerg is the fourth highest point on Funen and is located in the Svanninge Mountains nature reserve, which is owned by the Bikuben Foundation. Lerbjerg is 126 meters high, and from the hill there is a fantastic view over South Funen and the South Funen archipelago. Odense Cathedral - Saint Canute's Church - was built in the 14th century. The crypt contains the remains of Canute the Saint, the last Viking king of Denmark. It is a Gothic cathedral with a high, bright nave. The cathedral is named after the Danish King Canute the Saint, who was murdered in Odense in 1086. His skeleton can be seen in the church crypt. In addition to Canute, King Hans and Christian II are also buried here.
