Adjacent to the castle is the former manor house, where the Trebsen Manor Friends Association is headquartered. Numerous visitors come to the "Blues Nights" once a month. The association also offers other cultural and creative activities. The International Highland Games, held in September in the neighboring castle and park, are a top-class event. The Trebsen Manor also houses the Raw Materials Competence Center for Stones and Earths in the GeoErlebnisWerkstatt Trebsen. The exhibitions "Porphyry, Tuff & Co.", featuring volcanic rocks from the region, and "Precious Stones in Saxony - Treasures in Porphyry," which showcases local minerals, are worth seeing.
