It's exciting to cycle right through the middle of the golf course.

The Lindenthal Eco-Pool of the Leipzig Sports Pools is a showcase project for sustainable local recreation and was opened in 1998 as Germany's first ecological outdoor pool – even before Lindenthal was incorporated into Leipzig in 1999. Instead of chlorine, aquatic plants and microorganisms ensure clean water, supported by a modern gravel filter system. The pool was created as an initiative of the municipality, which, following the South Tyrolean model, created a natural alternative when renovating the old outdoor pool became financially impossible. Today, the eco-pool offers over 5,000 square meters of swimming fun amidst water lilies, reeds, and a diverse range of wildlife – an important contribution to environmental education, biodiversity, and quality of life in northwest Leipzig. Beautiful view of the Biedermeier beach. When there's an event and the wind is right, you can hear the music very well.

Tastes really good. It's just right on the street with no benches.

The lakeside stage is also located here, and concerts, etc., are regularly held. Therefore, there is, of course, also a nice parking lot.
