Section House – Oisterwijk On Frans Halsstraat in Oisterwijk, you'll find this unique concrete artwork by Gert Kwekkeboom. It's called Section House and was designed in the characteristic style of clean lines and geometric shapes. The colored surfaces in red and blue clearly reference the De Stijl (Mondrian) art movement. The object is not only art, but also a kind of play and climbing frame that children love to crawl through. A beautiful example of how art and everyday life converge in this neighborhood.

The town hall on De Lind is a monumental building with a rich history. Originally built as a chapel for the statue of Our Lady of the Linden, it later served as the town hall. This striking building, with its characteristic stepped gable and historic appearance, is a focal point in the town center and remains the administrative heart of Oisterwijk.

De Lind is the green and historic heart of Oisterwijk. This charming avenue is lined with centuries-old lime trees and stately buildings, including old mansions, charming terraces, and the monumental town hall. In the center of De Lind, you'll find the centuries-old lime tree and various monuments that recall the village's rich history. A place where nature, culture, and conviviality converge.

"Winged Freedom" Monument – Oisterwijk This abstract bronze artwork depicts symbols such as a snake, a pelvis, hands, and the wings of a bird. It stands on a sandstone plinth, surrounded by three walls with plaques and a memorial stone listing the names of the fallen Oisterwijk citizens.

The berceau is known to many as Wedding Lane, because brides and grooms use this romantic path to reach the town hall. However, it used to be called Our Lady Lane, a reference to the time when the current town hall was still a chapel dedicated to the statue of Our Lady of the Linden Tree.

Voorste Stroom & Fish Ladder – Oisterwijk Along the winding Voorste Stroom, you'll encounter the fish ladder, constructed to allow fish to migrate upstream. The church was designed by architect H.W. Valk and built in 1927. In 1953, the tower and portal complex, which Valk designed in collaboration with his son G.H.F. Valk, was added. In 1958, three bells bearing the names Joannes, Maria, and Josef were put into use, and in 1972, a day chapel was also added.
