This magnificent cathedral took over 300 years to build. It boasts an impressive 115 meters in length and a 73-meter-high tower. Its exterior is remarkably ornately decorated.

De Heinis is a street and nature reserve in 's-Hertogenbosch. The name is reflected in a street name in Rosmalen. The Heinis is one of the few remaining parts of the winter dike of the Maas. Pieces of winter dike can also be seen at Bruggen, Rosmalen. The old dike ran all the way to Orthen. The dike was severed by the arrival of the A2. The dike was constructed in the 14th century and was the south side of the Polder van der Eigen and the catchment area of the Beerse Maas. The area has often suffered from flooding. The wheels that are still there are silent witnesses to this. The dike was part of the line during the Siege of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1629. The Heinis is sandwiched by industrial estates and the various neighborhoods of 's-Hertogenbosch. This makes the Heinis a unique part of 's-Hertogenbosch. The Heinistuin is now a varied area with different biotopes/landscape elements. Such as open grassland, swamp forest, dike forest, thicket of blackberry and willow. But also open water, ditches, pollard willows and shivering branches. And also a lot of dead or dying wood that forms a habitat for fungi and soil animals, food for higher animal species. The station was opened in 1881. The old station building of Rosmalen (with station house) from 1880 still exists, but is now used as a residential and office building. It is located on the Stationsstraat and Spoorstraat. In December 1920 there was a train accident near this station. Three people died in this train accident. There were also stops at Sprokkelbosch and Kruisstraat. In the landscape, however, there is nothing to remind you of that. Where it is very likely that the Sprokkelbosch stop stood is now the Peelhoeven. The house, which also served as a guardhouse for the level crossings, and until the late 1970s as (one of the last manually operated) signal boxes, was demolished in the 1980s.

The Ravelijn was returned to the Muntelbolwerk in 2017 for the fortifications development plan 'Reinforced Den Bosch'. The Halve Maan was previously restored at this location in 2008. The design plan improves the city entrance at the Hinthamerpoort. The Ravelijn is a reconstruction of one of the works constructed between 1734 and 1739 around the fortress of 's-Hertogenbosch. A ravelin is an outer structure of a fortress. These were carried out years after his death according to the ideas of the famous Dutch fortification engineer Menno Baron van Coehoorn (1641-1704). Around 1700, he drew up plans on behalf of the States General for the improvement and connection of the southern fortified towns. The 5-cornered fortified island was situated in an 'advanced' position between 2 bastions on which war guns could be placed in case of emergency. It was actually part of the final piece of defense near the Hinthamerpoort, one of the former city gates. The Ravelijn in 's-Hertogenbosch is the only one of its kind that is still clearly visible.
