North of the Eider, the hiking trail runs directly along the river. This piece is very varied and offers beautiful photo moments in every season. There is a dog bathing area and a 🅿️.

The Eider's source is located a short distance away, around the Schönhagen and Löhnsdorf estates. The river then flows into Lake Bothkamp. Here in Bissee, the local history association has an informative information board about it.
