Amazing nature! The boardwalk is unique. Dosenmoor isn't always accessible! Flooding after prolonged rain. Sometimes mosquitoes. Still: give it a try.

Parallel to the developed supply road, a hidden forest singletrack trail runs along the shore of Lake Flemhude. The rooty and winding trail is easily accessible even in summer. It has several dog bathing areas and ends at the bathing area where the lake meets the Kiel Canal. An absolutely worthwhile section.

There's a drinking water dispenser here. It's made of stainless steel; you could walk right past it. It was very useful today...

The route is not designed as a cycling route, and bicycles are prohibited in some areas. The majority of it is open only to bicycles, not e-bikes.
