Originally established in 1912 for natural history classes at Hof schools, the Botanical Garden is part of the Theresienstein (Theresienstein) complex. The garden is divided into two large areas: the geometrically designed Rosarium with its medicinal plant area, and the more landscaped area with its alpine garden, water lily pond, shade area, and extensive areas of magnificent perennials. The tranquility and floral splendor of the Botanical Garden is available to all visitors free of charge.

Also called Lake Louisa. In the years 1893 to 1895, Lake Louisa was created from a mined mineral moor deposit by horticultural inspector Paul Schindel. Today you can rent rowing boats and pedal boats to explore the lake.
