Also called Lake Louisa. In the years 1893 to 1895, Lake Louisa was created from a mined mineral moor deposit by horticultural inspector Paul Schindel. Today you can rent rowing boats and pedal boats to explore the lake. The nature reserve is in the immediate vicinity of the Vogtland Clinic, making the beautiful tour also interesting for rehabilitation patients!

The reason for going to Bad Elster was actually the rose garden. Unfortunately, not much of it remains. Then we attended Kim Wilde's excellent open-air concert. So the trip was worth it.
