A truly beautiful beech forest. Perfect for summer. The forest is dense and protects from strong sunlight. In spring, you can snack on the tender leaves from the trees.

The area is particularly characterized by wavy to strongly moving end moraine ridges, on which a near-natural, acidic to alkaline-rich lowland beech forest with its characteristic plant and animal species grows as a natural managed forest. These include large areas of continuous brush grass and hairbrush beech forests with hints of woodruff beech forests, which are among the largest beech forest complexes in the lowlands of Lower Saxony and are characterized by a high diversity of species and structures typical of the habitat. Imposing stone that lies in the middle of the Heidschnuckenweg. Easy to reach from the parking lot. But it can also be integrated very well into Waderungen, since the path leading there and back is very beautiful.
