The church of San Pietro dates back to the sixteenth century and underwent changes in the eighteenth century. The building is simple but articulated: a rectangular hall with a smaller rectangular presbytery and a semi-hexagonal apse. The entrance portal is protected by a portico with three open arched sides. On the top of the façade a small sail with a bell mullioned window. The secular oak of Villanova is over 15 meters high and its circumference from the ground measures over 7 meters.
