Hvidbjerg Beach is named after the protected Hvidbjerg Klit, which is unique on the east coast of Jutland. The large white, fine-grained sand dune - 27 meters above sea level - is divided into Large and Small Dunes. From the top of Hvidbjerg Klit there is a fantastic view of the wooded Trelde Næs and the outermost part of the Vejle Fjord.

At the beach it's possible to find 50 million years old shark teeths, fossilized vertebras among other things. At high tide there's almost no beach, but at low tide you should be able to walk along the beach all around to the other side of the cape.

Park Søndervold is part of Kanalbyen and is located behind new buildings and close to Lillebælt. Park Søndervold is part of the development plan for Kanalbyen. There is also a nice playground in the park. In the park you can also see the sculpture '2Ikinngutigiit', which means friendship in Greenlandic. The sculpture was made in 2022 by the sculptor Jens Erik Kjeldsen. Jens Erik Kjeldsen lives in Aasiaat/Egedesminde, Greenland. The sculpture weighs 4 tons and is made of Greenlandic granite .

The Geographical Garden - Go on a green journey of discovery in the middle of Kolding The Geographical Garden is a 14 hectare adventure park and botanical garden with more than 2,000 different trees, bushes and perennials and an animal enclosure. The garden is more than 100 years old and offers beautiful old trees, sculptural shrubs and a variety of perennials, herbs and last but not least roses. An award-winning rose garden awaits you with over 500 roses, including historical and wild roses. Some of the rose species and varieties were introduced by Aksel Olsen, the garden's founder.
