The Geographical Garden - Go on a green journey of discovery in the middle of Kolding

The Geographical Garden is a 14 hectare adventure park and botanical garden with more than 2,000 different trees, bushes and perennials and an animal enclosure.

The garden is more than 100 years old and offers beautiful old trees, sculptural shrubs and a variety of perennials, herbs and last but not least roses.
An award-winning rose garden awaits you with over 500 roses, including historical and wild roses. Some of the rose species and varieties were introduced by Aksel Olsen, the garden's founder. Little discoveries await you in the 'Siebental' (Syvdalen), such as grottos, a stream and the twittering of birds.

A large garden divided into continents. In each section grow the plants typical for the continent, which tolerate the cold, Danish climate.

We love this garden, here you can go everywhere, also on Radenflächen and cross-country. You can touch and smell everything. Our favorite place is the herb garden.

You can bring your own picnic basket, grilled meat, drinks, etc ... Grillplaces and pavilions are many available.

Many plants from all over the world can be admired here. Animals and a petting zoo are also available.

Dogs are everywhere on the leash, except at the petting zoo.

Over 65 years: 65 DKK
Students (only on presentation of student ID): 40 DKK
10th card (transferable): 550 DKK

From the 43rd calendar week until April is Monday - Friday free admission.
On the weekends:

18-65 years: 50 DKK
Over 65 years: 40 DKK
Students (only on presentation of student ID): 25 DKK

Carts can be rented for DKK 20 or DKK 50 (depending on size).

Group prices from 10 persons is possible.

Annual tickets are also available.
