Former natural outdoor pool; was opened in 1934. In 1965 the bath was renovated. The former wooden borders were replaced by concrete; in addition, a water purification system was installed. The pool has been closed since 1992 and nature has reclaimed the site.

The former swimming pool 't Vleer in Neede was finally transformed into a tree frog biotope in 2006. Staatsbosbeheer has arranged the water feature and the immediate surroundings in such a way that the site becomes a true Eldorado for small green climbers. Incidentally, 't Vleer has traditionally been a permanent residence for one of the larger populations of tree frogs in the Achterhoek. The access to the swimming pool is on a car-free road. The pond and diving tower are only 10-15 meters after the entrance gate.
