The Mosbach lime tree is a prominent tree on the Eisenach field boundary and a stage destination on the old Mosbach market route to Eisenach. The 250 to 300-year-old small-leaved lime tree was declared a natural monument in 1966. Wikipedia In addition, the Mosbacher Linde is a station on the approx. 11 km long circular hiking trail "The Beautiful Unknowns", which opened on April 28th, 2019 and whose start and finish is at the Mosbach swimming pool. From here you have a beautiful view over to the Hörselberge. A large spacious shelter is also available.
