Cozy rest area at the Mosbacher Linde with a shelter and legend board of the Beautiful Unknowns. Ideal for lingering, resting and relaxing. Paths lead further to Mosbach, to the fraternity monument or up to the Hohe Sonne. Ideally accessible by bike and on foot.

The Mosbach lime tree is a prominent tree on the Eisenach field boundary and a stage destination on the old Mosbach market route to Eisenach. The 250 to 300-year-old small-leaved lime tree was declared a natural monument in 1966. Wikipedia

The spacious refuge is located in the immediate vicinity of the Mosbacher Linde, a striking 259 to 300-year-old winter linden tree on the Eisenach field boundary and a stopover on the old Mosbach market path to Eisenach.
From here you have a beautiful view over the Hörselberge. The Mosbacher Linde is also a stop on the approx. 11 km long circular hiking trail “The Beautiful Unknowns”, which opened on April 28, 2019 and whose start and finish is at the Mosbach swimming pool. A notice board next to the hut provides initial information about the circular route.
