You're used to seeing a summit cross from afar. That's not the case here. A good 10 meters before the cross, you'll hear a surprised "ahh!" But it's definitely a good place to rest! It's nice that there are plenty of rest stops all around.

An idyllic spot in Marisfeld

Happened to pass by on my gate. Very nice here :)

Previously used as a bathing pond, it is now unfortunately a bit desolate as the forest around it has been badly damaged.

The third pond in this pond complex was developed as a swimming pool from the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Since most of the surrounding towns did not have their own swimming pools at that time, the Ebertshäuser Pond was particularly popular and actively used. Later, modern baths were built in neighboring towns and the Ebertshausen bath slowly fell into disrepair. The swimming pool pond was now used as fishing water. A beautiful but quite small dam. It is somewhat hidden, so you are relatively undisturbed here.
